WESC Foundation offers a range of educational, care and support services to young people and adults with visual impairment and other
complex needs. Our services include: full-time day or residential placements for 38 weeks of the academic year.
On Sidwell Street you can find one of their charity shops, which operates as part of WESC Foundation’s social enterprise, with profits from trading being reinvested back into the charity. They help to support our work with children and young people with a visual impairment and other complex needs.
The charity shops also provide excellent opportunities for vocational and social interaction to the WESC Foundation community, as well as other disabled young people from around Devon. The young people use regular work experience in our shops to learn valuable work-based skills as well as boosting their confidence and self-esteem. Our premises have even been renovated to create a user-friendly environment for visually-impaired shoppers and staff.
Open Monday to Saturday 10am until 4.30pm. Closed Sundays.
