The Easter holidays are fast approaching, kick-started by a bank holiday weekend for the whole family to enjoy and a further two weeks of fun for the kids. Courtyard Families Activities: Easter – RAMM
Get your day off to a good start with this free activity-filled Easter event at the Museum. Open from 10:30am the kids can get involved with activities such as make-a-mosaic, fuzz-and-felt museum and costume dress-up! There is also the chance to discover the famous bee bags, explorer bags and brain-teaser quizzes.

Easter Egg Hunt – Exeter Cathedral
Time for an Easter egg hunt? Pick up your Explorer backpacks and find the Easter egg shapes hidden throughout the building. After the hunt why not take a guided tour to learn more about the history of the Cathedral or stop off at the Cathedral Café for a traditional Devon Cream Tea.

Easter Treats – Choccie Bar
If hunting for all of those Easter egg shapes has got you excited for the real thing, visit Choccie Bar on Gandy Street. Full of hand-painted and crafted Easter treats, there’s something to entice everyone. For an extra special treat enquire about the Junior Chocolatier’s Club. Recently launched, this activity for chocolate-loving children includes chocolate tasting, chocolate games and creating your own chocolate treats.

Lunch Time – Bella Italia
Time for lunch? Walk around the corner to Bella Italia on Queen Street. The recently updated kids menu is full of different choices, including two different sizes to choose from. £5.45 for piccolo kids and £7.95 for grande kids includes a 3 course meal, drinks and nibbles. It’s not just the kids that get all the choice – with pasta dishes, pizzas, salads, burgers and more to choose from on the main menu the adults will get a good deal too.

Easter Underground – Underground Passages
Time to work off all that yummy food! Explore Exeter’s Underground Passages with a 25 minute tour underground. The Easter bunny has been busy here too; take part in the Easter egg hunt and find all of the eggs to win a small prize. After your underground adventure take some time to look around the exhibition.

Easter Show – Exeter Corn Exchange
Top off your Easter fun day out with a show at the Exeter Corn Exchange. The Tales of Beatrix Potter runs from 24th– 26th March or catch the Easter panto Alice in Wonderland on the 30th. Both shows are sure to provide lots of laughter and toe-tapping tunes, perfect for all the family.
