Exeter’s favourite fried chicken restaurant donate children’s meals to local food bank charity
For each kids meal you buy in Eat the Bird between today and Christmas Day, Eat the Bird will donate four kids meals to FareShare UK – a food bank charity helping to end food poverty in the UK, feeding thousands of local families.
After the government voted against extending free school meals for children over the half-term holiday, Eat the Bird founder and father of two, Dan Aldridge, wanted to help.
“Eat the Bird is a restaurant rooted in the community. We see families and children enjoying here each day and if we can do anything to help those who need it the most, we want to lend a hand. That’s why, for each kids meal bought in any of our restaurants until Christmas, we are donating four to FareShare UK.”
