Lecture

Exeter people often talk of the sad losses of ancient buildings in the city; in fact, far more is left than is apparent upon casual inspection. This lecture by John Allan will give an account of the architectural history of housing in the city from the late Norman period up to the reign of Queen Anne, emphasising new discoveries and pointing out features to look for when examining townhouses.
