After a host of fantastic sell out screenings at last year’s event, we’ll be returning to Northernhay Gardens with a whole week of cinematic magic under the stars.
This year come with us to visit parallel universes, worlds of monsters, the glitz and glam of Hollywood and the New Zealand outback in a series of summer-perfect films echoing the popular programme of films on offer at Studio 74, which brings the best independent, contemporary and world cinema to Exeter.
Make sure you get down to the park early to listen to summery tunes, relax with a drink and soak up the vibes before the films starts!
Gates 7.30pm | Film approx. 9pm
£6 in advance | £7 on the gate
+ £4 for a deckchair
+ £19.50 for a picnic for two with wine
Dir. Mike Newell | UK | 113 mins | 1994
Clink those champagne flutes and let’s toast to British summertime!
This is the best of British – a simple and ingenious story of a loveable, floppy haired Englishman and his friends navigating the awfulness of marriage… only to admit that it’s all rather lovely once you’ve found the one.
‘After all this time, the film’s champagne fizz has yet to go flat… Four Weddings remains an irresistible homage to British reticence, peppered with excellent jokes.’
Please remember to leave your chairs at home this year, as they won’t be accepted into the park. Take a look at our seating area options to find out more.
