After a host of fantastic sell out screenings at last year’s event, we’ll be returning to Northernhay Gardens with a whole week of cinematic magic under the stars.
This year come with us to visit parallel universes, worlds of monsters, the glitz and glam of Hollywood and the New Zealand outback in a series of summer-perfect films echoing the popular programme of films on offer at Studio 74, which brings the best independent, contemporary and world cinema to Exeter.
Make sure you get down to the park early to listen to summery tunes, relax with a drink and soak up the vibes before the films starts!

Nature just got gangster.
This off-kilter indie comedy smashed box offices across the world and made nearly every ‘best of 2016’ list going.
In a rollercoaster ride through some of the funniest scenes you might see all year, an improbable pair take an unexpected journey through the New Zealand bush.
Ricky Baker is a real piece of work but in the words of the Child Protection Squad ‘no child gets left behind’. When an escape plan turns bad, Ricky and his Uncle Hec find themselves subject to a national manhunt.
‘It will make you honk like a goose on nitrous oxide’
Please remember to leave your chairs at home this year, as they won’t be accepted into the park. Take a look at our seating area options to find out more.
