Autumn dusk watch: a guided walk with Mike Langman
Sat 26 Oct
5.30 to 7.30pm
Meet outside Garden Reception

See and learn about the city’s bird life as day turns into night and birds become very active. Some are searching for a safe place to roost while others are on the move migrating by the stars. Some may even break into song! Inspired by RAMM’s exhibition ‘Birds Without Borders’, the walk will explore areas around the city taking a closer look at the migrants featured in the exhibition and the many other bird species that have made the city their home.

Your guide for this walk will be Mike Langman, professional bird illustrator and birdwatcher. The walk will cover approximately 1-1.5 miles on mostly footpaths, including some moderate gradients. The pace of the walk will be slow with regular stops and should take around an hour and a half.

Please bring with you a pair of binoculars, if you have them, and wear suitable clothing for the weather.
