7pm-10pm (with some afternoon workshops)
Exeter Library

Poets, activists, librarians, curators and communities are coming together in Exeter to explore the unfinished fight for women’s rights. Exeter Library will be filled with live performance, installations, workshops and discussions during the Herstory Festival, which is free to attend.

Produced by Poet in the City in partnership with the British Library, the festival takes place over two days in Exeter Library (30 March), in Newcastle City Library (23 March) and with audiences online, all contributing to key events and igniting a national conversation. Poets Fiona Benson, Shagufta K Iqbal and Liv Torc will perform specially commissioned work inspired by the women of Exeter, and will be joined by Mothers on the Mic, Dreadnought SW and other performers and poets.

Tickets are available now via poetinthecity.co.uk.
