Losing someone close to you can make you feel isolated and it can be difficult to try out new activities and meet new people. As a charity that centres around end of life care, Hospiscare endeavours to provide bereavement support for as long as friends or family may need it.
Take a few steps with us on one of our monthly bereavement support walks. These short distance walks take in the beautiful Devon countryside and provide the opportunity to find mutual support.
Hospiscare’s bereavement support walks are guided by a qualified walking group leader and supported by trained Hospiscare bereavement volunteers.
The walk of around 3 miles will take place on the second Thursday of each month (10 October, 14 November, 12 December, 9 January, 13 February).
The walk will begin at Haldon Forest Park, Buller’s Hill, Exeter, EX6 7XR at 10am.
You will need to be able to walk the distance unaided, wear suitable walking clothes and footwear and bring water or refreshments. Dogs on leads are welcome!
Due to limited numbers, it is important that you register in advance for this event. Please contact the Volunteering Office on 01392 688068 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book your place.
