Illustrator has grown to become the leading industry-recognised software when it comes to creating vector graphics and elements. There’s so much you can do with Illustrator that it can be difficult to know where to start. This introductory course will give you basic skills to start making your own logos, icons and typography.

Illustrator has grown to become the leading industry-recognised software when it comes to creating vector graphics and elements. It also allows for a cross platform interaction with other adobe software, including Photoshop and InDesign. There’s so much you can do with Illustrator that it can be difficult to know where to start. This introductory course will give you basic skills to start making your own logos, icons and typography.

This workshop will introduce you to:

The tools and commands of Illustrator,
How to organise and format a new document,
Creating layered vectors, drawing, adding objects and gradients.
It will also help you design for a range of uses, teach you to 
export and save.
Individual needs will be catered for where possible. All courses are taught on Apple Mac computers and skills learnt are transferable to PC.
