Join in the official festival launch and 50th anniversary celebrations of the start of the decriminalisation of homosexuality in the UK.
2017 is a notable year for the LGBTQ+ community, marking the 50th anniversary of the Sexual Offences Act 1967, which started the decriminalisation of homosexuality in the UK. At this opening event of Exeter’s own LGBT History Festival, enjoy performance and hear guest speakers including Michael Halls, Director of Intercom Trust, Jacq Applebee representing Bi’s of Colour, and playwright and historian team Natalie McGrath & Alan Butler. To include a glass of wine and nibbles.
