See and learn about the surprising number of fascinating birds found around Exeter City Centre. Linked to RAMM’s Birds Without Borders exhibition, this walk will explore gardens and locations around the city and take a closer look at the summer migrants featured in the exhibition as well as the many other bird species that have made the city their home. Evenings are a good time to listen to bird song, listen closely and your expert guide will help you to remember some of the different songs and calls.
Your guide for this walk will be Mike Langman, professional bird illustrator and birdwatcher. The walk will cover approximately 1-1.5 miles on mostly footpaths, including some moderate gradients. The pace of the walk will be slow with regular stops and should take around an hour and a half.
Please bring with you a pair of binoculars if you have them and wear suitable clothing for the weather.
