Photographer Brendan Barry will host the final Social [practice] session this season. Brendan’s creative photographic practice combines elements of construction, education, performance and participation. He transforms objects and environments into cameras and uses the mechanics of photography as a tool for exploration and collaboration.

Spend the weekend with Brendan and build an Ultra Large Format Camera big enough to operate from the inside, construct a makeshift pop up darkroom, channel and control a combination of natural and artificial light – use it all to learn the mechanics of photography and create a series of 16×20” traditional analogue black & white photographic prints to take away.

ABOUT SOCIAL [PRACTICE]
