SING YOUR WAY INTO SUMMER WITH SOUL OF THE CITY!
Exeter’s most joyful, soul and gospel choir; Soul of the City, will be entertaining audiences in their eagerly anticipated, summer concert ‘Summer Soul Sunshine’ on Saturday 25th June at Exeter’s Salvation Army Hall.
Joining forces with the percussive rhythms and moves of Shumba Arts, Soul of the City Choir promise not to disappoint with their summer set, incorporating an inspiring and varied line up of soul classics, uplifting gospel tributes and wholesome African numbers. Collaborating with the choir will be Shumba Arts, who will be showcasing their breath-taking African drumming and dance.
The concert will include several new stunning choir pieces, moving ensembles and some firm family favourites that audiences of all ages will recognise. The choir will be accompanied by a superb band, led by the brilliant Alfie Pugh, delivering music that will touch your heart, bring a smile to your face and a beat to your feet.

The icing on the cake in this concert is that there will be joint pieces where collaborative magic will flow between these two groups, to create even more forms of expressions for joy to flow!
