Brand new for Summer 2022 is the launch of The Exeter Independent Market which will take place on Saturday 30th July on Cathedral Green. Supported by the Cathedral itself, the market will host over sixty stalls and will showcase the best and the brightest the Southwest has to offer.
The Exeter Independent Market will showcase amazing local businesses and artists from the Southwest. It will include independent foodies, artisan craft plus vintage and preloved treasures. For a taste of what will be at the market there will be Truffle Hounds, a new independent business on Fore Street in Exeter, Helen Leslie, an Exeter based illustrator working out of the Generator and Barbican Botanics, a Plymouth based Gin company whose labelling is every bit as gorgeous as their spirits, will all be exhibiting at the new market. Truffle Hounds specialise in homemade chocolates, pastries and ice creams will be exhibiting with a range of their chocolate and pastry products as one of the local food suppliers.
The Exeter Independents Market will be open to visitors from 11am to 4pm and is free to the public. The stalls have been curated around the grounds to the front of the Cathedral and the market has been designed to be fully accessible through the support of Exe Access.
