Volunteer guides will help you to uncover the archaeological site of St Loyes, located between the Roman fortress of Isca and the quay at Topsham. View a number of the finds that were discovered in 2008 and excavated in 2010. What was the purpose of the buildings that were discovered? What objects have been found and what do they tell us about the people who were occupying or working in these buildings?

This activity is unsuitable for large self-led school groups.
