Six week yoga program with integrated cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) skills. Open to all, no experience of yoga needed!
This Yoga CBT course includes self-help skills for overcoming anxiety and negative thinking patterns using controlled breathing practices, body movements, meditations and traditional CBT techniques. It is a group program open to anyone interested in developing self-help skills to manage emotional wellbeing. It is not a replacement for talking therapy or other forms of treatments recommended or prescribed for those awaiting or under the care of mental health services.
To support your learning and experience of the course, you will also receive a 38-page course booklet with materials and information related to the key principles covered each week, and guided exercises which explain how to practice the different techniques on your own between the sessions.
