For the third year running, Exeter Cathedral, one of the top attractions in Exeter, has received a TripAdvisor Award of Excellence.
According to TripAdvisor reviews, the Cathedral is one of the city’s highest-rated attractions, and the certificate adds to the a “2016 top-rated” award from Travelzoo and quality assured status from the Devon Association of Tourist Attractions the Cathedral has already received this year.
The Cathedral’s Marketing Manager, Laurence Blyth, said: “We are extremely grateful to our visitors who have reviewed their experience of their time here, as well as the dedicated team of volunteers and staff who work tireless to welcome pilgrims and tourists to pray, worship and explore the Cathedral throughout the year.
“Exeter has some great places to visit and we’re proud to be working with partners in the city and around the county to promote tourism in Devon.”
Local residents have free entry to the museum, and there are free guided tours or alternative audio guides available to all visitors. There are also activities for children under 18 to take part in.
Other recipients of the TripAdvisor award in Exeter include Powderham Castle, Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Killerton House.
As Exeter Cathedral is located in the centre of the city, there are lots of things to do close by, with great shops, restaurants, cafes and things to do in Exeter all just minutes away.
