Exeter music concerts this July

Exeter has a very exciting music scene, with great venues throughout where you can enjoy an eclectic range of performances of an evening. Here are just some of the great musical events on offer this July, experiment with your music tastes and enjoy the electric atmosphere created by the musicians right here with our Exeter concerts:

Wreckage 4 – Punk Rock, July 21st – Exeter Cavern

Wreckage 4 offers ‘the best in South West Punk’ for the first time in Exeter this year with an energetic performance of punk rock music from The Clash to The Ramones. This youthful and energetic performance promises to get the crowd going for a night you won’t forget featuring bands such as Disruptive Influence and Fans Of… Anti-Nowhere League. This brings a young and urban edge to the music scene in Exeter in an atmospheric venue, The Cavern.

The East Pointers, July 25th – Exeter Phoenix

On their tour of Canada, the U.S., Norway and England, the three-piece band visit Exeter Phoenix for a night of musical madness. Drawing from a wide variety of inspiration, The East Pointers to come together and perform traditional Celtic tunes amongst others with a variety of instruments from banjos to fiddles and guitars.

Dick Valentine, July 26th – Exeter Phoenix

The lead man of garage, disco and metal fusion band from Detroit, Electric Six’, is Dick Valentine. The American singer-songwriter, here to perform live in Exeter in a solo performance as a ‘charismatic lyrical maestro’ this summer, providing an exhibition to suit a wide variety of music tastes as he wow’s the audience with his charm and musical talent.

Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band, July 30th – Exeter Phoenix

Described as a ‘living embodiment of the landscape’, The Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band are made up of eight musicians, celebrating their regions culture in an eccentric, vibrant and energising theatre and music performance. Watch as their colourful costumes float over the stage and leave you mesmerised with awe.
