The first half term of the year is nearly upon us, if you haven’t got anything planned yet don’t worry there are plenty of things to do in Exeter to keep the little and not so little ones entertained.
We’ve put together a few options for you….
Brick Flicks, Exeter Phoenix – Monday 18
One for the older ones! Brick Flicks is a two-day workshop where you will get the opportunity to use stop motion techniques to design, plan and shoot a film using your favourite Lego from home.
Join Exeter Cathedral for a peaceful creative session where you can design your own illuminated letters with bright colours and burnished gold using quills, pens and brushes, which will then be framed for you to take home.
This is a great workshop where you can get creative with your little one and make something lovely for the home.
Ever seen a leopard-print racing car? Or a camouflage teapot? You might do this February half term at RAMM. Taking inspiration from the Criminal Ornamentation exhibition, our family activity will invite children to use pattern in surprising ways. Be as imaginative and creative as possible.
Pop along to Storytime with author Clare Helen Welsh, she will be reading her new book How Rude!
It’s a free drop in event with interactive storytelling and crafts.
Back for 2019! Celebrate Chinese New Year with the RAMM’s trail, you’ll be able to explore and discover Chinese and Chinese-inspired objects around the museum. Collect your map from the Queen Street and Garden receptions, follow the clues, draw your own pictures to complete the trail and win a badge!
Let the kids get creative with chocolate! Pop in anytime, grab a table and the team will get you everything you need to make your own lollies to take home – YUM! Only £3.50 per person.
