The Guildhall Shopping Centre provides a diverse range of restaurants and retailers, and is unique to any other spot in Exeter. During the Christmas period, Guildhall’s stores will be bursting with seasonal food, gifts and festive spirit. It’s a Christmas shopping experience like no other!
Here are a few of the Christmassy events you can expect:
The Guildhall Shopping Centre will be home to lots of festive kiosks for shoppers to enjoy. This will be a celebration of local, independent retailers and will take place each Thursday – Sunday from 16 November.
Festive Street Food
There will also be street food stalls where visitors can purchase lots of delicious local festive food at St Pancras Church.

Exeter Chiefs Pop-up Shop
On November 16, Guildhall Shopping Centre welcomes the official Exeter Chiefs merchandise vehicle in the run up to Christmas.
Parked up in Market Square, the pop-up shop will sell replica kit and accessories daily from 9-5pm, up until the December 23 making it the perfect place to pick up those pressies for loyal rugby fans this Christmas.
Charity Carol Service
Join the Salvation Army in singing your favourite Christmas carols on December 7
Market Square, 7pm
On December 9 & 10 Guildhall will be hosting a toy fair, where families can experience & play with the year’s best toys
Children can also meet Santa and get their faces painted for charitable donations

Meet the one & only Paddington Bear on December 19
Guildhall will also be hosting a children’s marmalade workshop to celebrate Paddington’s visit

Sprout + Shed Pop-up Boutique
Located in the public realm area, there will be two beautiful festive little and large cabins full to the brim with beautiful Christmas decor, children’s gifts, clothes and stocking fillers for all the family.
Buy unique Christmas presents all the while supporting amazing small creative businesses in the South West.
Sprout + Shed will be at the Guildhall from November 16 – 19 and then back on November 30 – December 3, including late night Thursdays.
