This weekend some of our independent retailers will be at Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink selling some of their fantastic products. Held in Northernhay Gardens and Exeter Castle, the festival celebrates the best Food and Drink within the South West. It’s going to be a brilliant weekend and we couldn’t help but give you a sneak peek into some of the retailers you might find at the festival…
Located on Gandy Street, Chococo are known for their incredibly indulgent handmade chocolates and treats. The chocolates are made with only the finest, natural ingredients making them deliciously smooth, tasty and delicious. You will find them at the Food Festival selling their beautifully designed chocolates that burst with flavour.
The Real Food store is a haven for anyone with a passion for good produced food. Supplying anything from Bread, Larder, Eggs/Dairy or Household toiletries, they allow their customers to have only the best eco-friendly supplies. At the Food Festival the Real Food Store will be showcasing a range of eco-friendly products – including straws, cups and delightful hampers.
Full of colour and extravagant style, Moko is one of Gandy Streets most delightful shops and is a place where you can buy anything from unique furniture to quirky jewellery. Moko is sure to be a hit at the Festival with their Caroline Walker kitchen accessories and beautifully designed bamboo serve ware.
Keeping with tradition, The Beltmakers are one of the best in Exeter for making handmade leather belts. Using pure English leather, the belts have incredible strength, durability and finish which is clear to see in the collection of their shop located on Fore Street. The Beltmakers will be featuring one of the most popular belts, the Dining Belt, which has hidden elastic to help keep strength and durability.
Roly’s Fudge is known across the UK for the incredible tasting fudge, and here in Exeter we absolutely love our Roly’s Fudge pantry and their delicious unique flavours. Featuring limited addition Raspberry and White Chocolate fudge, as well as their brand new Vegan Fudge in different flavours, you will be sure not to miss them at the Food and Drink Festival.
Toot Garook is a beautifully presented vibrant gift and lifestyle store located on Queen Street that is full of stunning homeware and gifts, perfect for any occasion. Embracing their passion of travelling, they like to supply products made from different countries around the world including scarves, bags and home furniture.
This pop-up indoor jungle is tucked away on Paris Street, bursting with an enormous selection of glorious terrariums and houseplants. Hutch will help you find exquisite items to brighten your home, or be a place where you can hide away and soak up the natural paradise with a cuppa in the cosy corner. They will feature at the festival, offering the same wonderful houseplants and terrariums that you might find in their store.
Georgie & Flo is an independent shop housing a carefully curated range of ethically sourced and handmade gifts and homeware. Most of their products are locally sourced and made in the UK. At the Food Festival they will be featuring a beautiful selection of homeware including: Helen Round (Textiles), Jess Pearson (Prints) and Linda Bloomfield (Ceramics). You can head into their store on Upper Paul Street to see their entire collection.
