Is your hair in need of a refresh? Are you wondering if you’ll ever find your dream salon? If this is you, then make sure you check out Exeter’s Recognition Hair!
For this week’s #FinditinExeter we chatted with owner Amy and discovered all there is to know about her fresh on the scene hair salon.
If you don’t recognise the name Recognition Hair, it’s because the salon only opened in November of last year, located just a few steps away from the Cathedral and its green, at 1 Deanery Place.
Headed by qualified hairdresser and barber Amy, her two hairdressing team members Hayley and Tasha and not forgetting adorable miniature dachshund Rudy – Recognition Hair offers the complete hairdressing service for women, men and children.
Whether you are after a glamourous cut and blow dry for a night out, a complete restyle for 2019, or a full head of highlights for summer – Recognition Hair offers it all. With the wedding season and summer events soon upon us, the salon also offers hair up and bridal hair styling – ensuring you will look beautiful on your big day.
Having started hairdressing at the age of 15, Amy is a natural stylist. Originally from Okehampton, she stepped into the industry as a Saturday girl and then went on to gain her qualifications at both Exeter and Plymouth college. Since then, she has been building her CV and trend-led knowledge with both experience and courses, including 6 months training at an exclusive salon in Chelsea.
Jump forward to 2019 and Recognition Hair is Amy’s first salon providing her Exeter clientele with stylish, modern and creative hair looks. So, if you are tempted by something new, pop into Recognition Hair for a free consultation. The salon is open every day apart from Tuesday and Sunday.
Don’t forget the following year-round discounts either: 20% student discount, 20% OAP discount and 10% NHS discount, alongside Recognition Hair’s monthly deals that are published on their Facebook and Instagram page. March’s deal is 20% off all colours and a gent’s skin fade is £10 instead of £15!
P.S if you are a self-employed barber or hairdresser looking for a salon, Amy has two chair rentals up for grabs!
