It’s the first #FinditinExeter of the new year! Are you after new places to eat in 2020? Then you must visit Fore Street’s latest foodie offering TapiTapa.
For this week’s #FinditinExeter we visited the owner, Aldriz and chef, Antonio, to chat all things Spanish cuisine.
TapiTapa opened in Exeter’s The West Quarter in July 2019 and serves up an array of fresh and traditional Iberian dishes. From tapas to paella to their special “Iberian” sandwiches, you will find everything you need for a true Spanish feast that will leave you shouting DELICIOSO!
Hailing from Barcelona, the TapiTapa duo have lived in Exeter for six years now and have always worked in hospitality. With a huge passion for traditional Spanish food, both Aldriz and Antonio have always wanted to run their own restaurant whilst bringing the food of their homeland to the city, and now they have made their dream come true.
Alongside a children’s menu, customer’s top picks on TapiTapa’s menu are the classics: patatas bravas, Spanish omelette, chicken and chorizo paella, chicken piri-piri and not forgetting everyone’s favourite Spanish sweet treat…CHURROS!
So, whether it’s for a new year catch up, a belated Christmas celebration or a birthday, be sure to book a table at TapiTapa for a true Spanish experience in its cosy, quirky interior.
TapiTapa is open seven days a week, Monday – Saturday 12pm – 11pm and Sunday 12pm – 10pm.
