As part of the festive activities planned for the city, families are invited to take part in the Exeter Reindeer Roundup and find eight reindeer decorations hidden around the city centre. Those taking part can enter a competition to win a festive family outing.
From Monday 16th November, reindeer decorations will appear in shop and restaurant windows throughout the city centre. Visitors must find Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen and record their locations to be entered into a prize draw to win a fabulous festive package including dinner for four at Las Iguanas, four tickets to see Sleeping Beauty at the Exeter Corn Exchange plus a £50 shopping voucher for Wilko.
Craig Bulley, CEO of Exeter BID Company says, “We hope that families enjoy this fun, free activity in the lead up to Christmas. We encourage families to take part whilst enjoying the Christmas lights, street performers and festive atmosphere this winter. You never know, you might just win a festive outing for you and your family.”
A helpful map guiding the way to the reindeer in Exeter will be printed in the Express and Echo on Thursday 19th November and will be included in the free Exeter Winter Voucher Passport distributed at the Exeter light switch on event, late night shopping and inside the pages of the North Devon Journal, Mid Devon Gazette and Herald Express.
The reindeer will be flying in to Cathedral Green, Fore Street, South Street, Paris Street, Castle Street and in Princesshay, Harlequins and Guildhall shopping centres.
Closing date for entries is Thursday 10th December. The winner will be announced on Friday 11th December 2015.
