EBAC is a proactive partnership scheme dedicated to combating increasing rates of business crime and anti-social behaviour within Exeter city centre. The partnership was established in March 2006 between the businesses, Exeter City Council and Devon & Cornwall Police; the scheme enables businesses to coordinate intelligence, pool resources & information and target communal action against individuals.
Best Bar None is a national scheme supported by the Home Office and aimed at promoting responsible management and operation of alcohol licensed premises. It was piloted in Manchester in 2003 and found to improve standards in the night time economy, with premises now competing to participate. It has since been adopted by 100 towns and cities across the UK and is now taken up internationally.

Exeter Trails are a collection of 5 hand drawn maps, depicting over 100 of the fantastic independent shops and cafes that the city has to offer. Launched in 2013 after the success of the ‘Christmas Shopping Trail’ initiative, Exeter Trails hopes to highlight and support Exeter’s wonderful independent shopping scene. The maps were illustrated by local artist Phillip Harris, and can be picked up, for free, all across the city.
