If you’re a local resident or frequent visitor to Exeter you will know there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from when looking for somewhere to eat.
In celebration of National Burger Day we have put together a quick round up of some of the places you can go to get your burger fix…
Located just off the main square in Princesshay, Byron Burger is the home of great burgers and delicious milkshakes. With a variety of different burgers to choose from and five types of fries on offer you will be spoilt for choice.
Not necessarily known for its burgers, Bill’s has quite a few choices on offer including some tempting calorie-counting and veggie options too! Found right next to the picturesque Gandy Street, this lovely restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating inside and out.
Serving up classic American burgers and craft ales, Hubbox on Sidwell Street is perfect for a laid-back meal out. Choose your burger or hotdog and fries and you’re good to go! Or perhaps try the topped fries or nachos – your eyes will be bigger than your stomach here.
If you’re not free to get your burger fix today, there are plenty of other options to explore in Exeter:
The original home of the Whopper, Burger King is now home to an extensive list of burgers and three varieties of fries – including Apple fries! Sat right in the middle of the high street, this restaurant is ideal for a quick bite to eat before you get back to your shopping.
You’ll find Five Guys on Queen Street – right next to Exeter Central station. Perfect for a quick bite to eat before catching your train, or a family meal out with the kids. Along with the burgers, Five Guys offers hotdogs, sandwiches, and a multitude of toppings with more than 250,000 possible topping combinations to choose from (not-to-mention the 1,000 mix-in milkshake combinations).
You can’t beat a classic Big Mac. Found at the end of the High Street, McDonald’s caters for every burger-lover. Be it a BBQ Smokehouse, Quarter Pounder or the Happy Meal for the smaller people amongst us, there is a McDonald’s burger for the whole family.
Located in the Queen Street Dining area of the city. Gourmet Burger Kitchen prides themselves on serving up a variety of crafted burgers, perfect for casual lunches or dinners that will well and truly satisfy.
