- HAY Summer’s Here – Princesshay Square – July 26
Come down to Princesshay from 11am – 4pm for a jam-packed fun filled day for all the family. With live music, face painting, spectacular street entertainment, creative workshops and food samples there’s no better way to spend a Thursday with the kids.
- Puppet-making with Alife the Sparrow – Courtyard – August 1 and 8
Fancy getting creative? For £3 come and be inspired by your favourite animals or Alfie the sparrow and make a puppet with Victoria Bryon, a children’s book illustrator! Join in and make up a story about your character through writing or drawing. Once you’ve made your puppet, visit Alfie’s Night Out Exhibition and test it out in the toy theatre!
- Mischief makers craft session – Exeter Library – August 13
As part of the Library’s #SummerReadingChallenge this latest craft session will see your little ones getting creative and making ‘book eating’ corner bookmarks for their favourite read. No advance booking required just pop in on the day
- Heroes and Villains: Superhero Lego – RAMM – August 15
Get imaginative with a Lego themed workshop. Come along and build your favourite superhero from Lego! Or if you’re feeling extra creative, why not design your own villain, sidekick or even a vehicle from scratch? Once made, there will be a name card to fill in, and of a course a photo to be taken with the creation! Drop in and pay what you think
- Make a Superhero Mask – RAMM – August 22
Why not come along and make your own superhero mask? Watch your children design and make masks inspired by the new RAMM World Cultures gallery. Recreate a favourite disguise or get inspired and make your own for only £3!
- Exeter Streets Arts Festival – City Centre – August 25
Come along with your family for the staging of the third Street Arts Festival. A wonderful art performance-filled day bringing colour, music and dancing to the city centre, a day to enjoy with the whole family!
- FREE film festival – Guildhall Shopping & Dining – 31 August & 1 September
Popcorn at the ready, our first ever FREE film fest is coming to Guildhall shopping centre. ake your seat around our amphitheatre and prepare to be entertained by a packed schedule of family favourites and blockbuster classics.
