Southwest’s first LEGO show to be held at Exeter Phoenix this summer

Events in Exeter include LEGO show

If you are looking for creative events in Exeter this summer, we might have a perfect day for you! The 30th of July sees the first ever LEGO show hit the Southwest, when LEGO users of the Southwest are coming together to host a spectacular celebratory event.

This is following on from the recent creation of the LEGO replica of Exeter Cathedral, where the money raised will go towards the preservation and conservation of the Cathedral itself.

The event will be run by West Country Bricks, a LEGO enthusiast group who share a passion for the magical coloured building blocks. They will be providing several replicas of historic buildings and events that will be available to view, such as a 1960s town plan collection. Alongside this, a giant Star Wars mosaic has also been built by the experts of West Country Bricks.

There will be many exciting opportunities to let your creative side run wild amongst fellow LEGO lovers. It will be a great event ‘to play, learn and be inspired together’. A LEGO play table is set to be the centre of the event allowing all who attend to get involved and share their building passion regardless of age.

The one-day LEGO show will be held at the Exeter Phoenix from 10.30am until 4.00pm. A range of exclusive Lego sets will be available to purchase throughout the day. This is alongside the availability of LEGO expertise, so whether you are a beginner or a pro in the LEGO world, this event will certainly be a fun-filled one!
