Summer Explorers - a new way for families to enjoy RAMM in Exeter

Families and children can join the all new Summer Explorers this holiday and discover a brand new way to have fun in the museum.

How do children join the Summer Explorers?

It’s simple! All a child needs to do to join the Summer Explorers is pick up one of our Summer Explorer leaflets and take part in fun activities at the museum.

Every time a child visits RAMM and takes part in one of our family activities, they will receive a reward and a special stamp on their Summer Explorers leaflet. They can collect the stamps and work their way up from Level 1 – RAMM Explorer all the way to Level 4 – Ultimate Explorer, and earn the Ultimate Explorer medal.

The leaflets are available from RAMM’s Garden Reception and the Shop at RAMM. They were also sent to primary school children in Devon as inserts in the summer edition of Primary Times magazine.

The scheme will be running until Sunday 30 September 2018.

Summer Activities at RAMM

This summer at RAMM is jam-packed with lots of great family activities. From workshops and events, to museum trails and family friendly exhibitions – there’s something for everyone this summer at RAMM.

Families can be inspired by the antics of Alfie the sparrow in the exhibition Alfie’s Night Out, a family friendly exhibition of work by children’s illustrator Vicky Byron. They can get involved with fun art and story making workshops led by the illustrator herself. They can take part in exciting experiments and intriguing investigations in a variety of science activities. Or they can unleash their inner superhero with a fantastic variety of activities inspired by our summer exhibition Pop Art in Print.

Whether they are visiting for the day or just popping in, there is always something for families to see, do and explore at RAMM.
